{"id":247,"date":"2004-12-18T09:17:58","date_gmt":"2004-12-18T17:17:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.smontagu.org\/blog\/?p=247"},"modified":"2005-02-05T13:47:41","modified_gmt":"2005-02-05T21:47:41","slug":"police-lineup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.smontagu.org\/blog\/?p=247","title":{"rendered":"Police lineup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m very fond of David Bogner and <a href=\"http:\/\/bogieworks.blogs.com\/\">Treppenwitz<\/a>, and this post is inspired partly by his weekly &#8220;Photo Friday&#8221; feature (before I knew that he had a <a href=\"http:\/\/bogieworks.blogs.com\/treppenwitz\/2004\/12\/photo_friday_vo_2.html\">culinary theme<\/a> this week too), and partly by the comments on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smontagu.org\/blog\/index.php?p=219\">this post<\/a> a few months back about the ingredients of my <span lang=\"he-latn\">hamin<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.smontagu.org\/images\/ingredients.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.smontagu.org\/images\/ingredients_small.jpg\" width=\"98%\" alt=\"twelve eggs, a sweet potato, a head of garlic, some kind of green turnip, a regular turnip, four potatoes, a cut of meat, a kishke, a chilli pepper, and a jar of wheat grains\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here is everything which went into the <span lang=\"he-latn\">hamin<\/span> yesterday (not including water and spices. Oh, and only six of those eggs ended up going in). Fourth from the left in the row of vegetables is the <span lang=\"he-latn\">lefet<\/span> which I usually use, which I decided earlier was a turnip, and third from the left is something that I have never seen before which appeared in the supermarket, calling itself a <span lang=\"he-latn\">tzenon yarok<\/span> (<span lang=\"he\">\u05e6\u05e0\u05d5\u05df \u05d9\u05e8\u05d5\u05e7<\/span>).
