It&#8217;s actually called <em>Hebrew<\/em> Book Week, (<span lang=\"he\">\u05e9\u05d1\u05d5\u05e2 \u05d4\u05e1\u05e4\u05e8 \u05d4\u05e2\u05d1\u05e8\u05d9<\/span>), not Jewish Book Week.<\/p>\n<p>Neither title is really totally appropriate. There are lots of Hebrew books on sale that aren&#8217;t in any way Jewish, in fact my impression is that about 75% of what&#8217;s available are cookery books and travel guides, and there are plenty of books in other languages. Just for example, the book I was raving about yesterday is mostly in Aramaic. It&#8217;s a shame that there isn&#8217;t an Aramaic Book Week. They could sell the screenplay of <cite>The Passion of the Christ<\/cite>. Talking of Aramaic, it&#8217;s a real <abbr lang=\"arc\" title=\"disgrace\">\u05db\u05d9\u05e1\u05d5\u05e4\u05d0<\/abbr> that Mozilla doesn&#8217;t recognize content marked up with <code>lang=\"arc\"<\/code> as being in Aramaic.
